    I tried this and it didn't work for me. ☹️ I have Mac OS Yosemite 10.10.5

    Hey @cassypierre let's try disabling proxy settings to see if it helps.


    You can do this by following the steps below:

    • Click the Apple icon then select the System Preferences… option.
    • Select Network.
    • From the left pane, select the network service you wish to disable the proxy settings on, then click the Advanced... button.
    • Select the Proxies tab then uncheck all protocols under Select a protocol to configure then click OK once done.

    Seems this OS version is causing some trouble at the moment. If you aren't able to update your OS (to for example High Sierra or Mojave, really depends on your Mac) and the proxy above doesn't do anything I'd recommend using the legacy client till they fix the Yosemite version of Origin.
     
     
    Make sure not to update this client and just use it to play. It won't really let you buy new products most likely but it'll let you play again.
  • This has not worked for me. 
    I have reset origin and unselected proxies and i still have the server unavailable error
