Redeemed Code and Nothing happened

When i entered a product code for the Sims 4 high school year dlc, it told me to download it from the EA app, i went there logged in. Nothing happened. I tried entering it again but it's already been...

That's correct, playing through Origin or the EA App should allow you to use the DLC and your save data instead of playing through Steam.
