The way you usually link EA accounts to a platform is by launching an EA game and then logging in when it asks you to as described here: https://help.ea.com/en-gb/help/account/link-your-console-accounts/
You can see what platforms/accounts are linked to your EA account here: https://help.ea.com/en-gb/help/account/link-your-console-accounts/
If you’re talking about having a button on your Nintendo settings or an app on the Nintendo platform then there might be limitations for EA as to what they’re allowed to implement.
As for your EA account, I don’t see why they shouldn’t have links allowing you to connect many different accounts like most if not all other clients/apps/accounts do.
