Cannot install version 1.6 for a Steam version of this game

I'm sorry to say this, but officially no mods are supported in the game.

If you have issues with a modification, you need to contact the author of the mod.

As far as I know is this mod only compatible with DarkSpore and not for Spore.

Darkspore is no longer available!

Nope, it's fully compatible with Spore but I'm not sure what version it supports.
