Can't log into account in spore to get updates and online play!!
Logging in... I CAN'T LOG INTO SPORE AND I HAVE A ACCOUNT FOR SPORE. IT SAYS THAT MY CONNECTION IS NOT WORKING OR THE SERVERS FOR SPORE ARE DOWN. Do I need to have a EA account too?

I logged in to spore back when EA had it's old launcher, it has now been changed to EA app and now when I booted up spore it show the usual logging in thing but fails, now whenever I try to log in to my account on the game It will always fail no matter what.
It seems to anyone who wishes to play spore now after the new launcher cannot and contacting support seems to be out of the question as everything I try and use to get anywhere to contacting someone at EA, there is no option and the whole live chat function is now gone. No idea if anyone is having this problem after the new launcher with the game but I just can't get logged in anymore and I can't contact EA to get any help either since at this point I'm questioning if they even have one anymore. No idea if anyone else is having this problem but it's been a pain in my * and hope my 2 years later response will show someone that there is a problem with Spore and EA's support.
@thund3rwolf27 I've been logging in and I'm having an error connecting to the Spore server. Your computer may be offline, or there may be a problem with your Internet connection. Check your connection or access Spore.com for more help or server status. I don't know how to solve it.,I deleted the preferences in spore according to the post bar.,But it's still not possible.

@devote-self @exosd I am having the same issue. For some reason, I'm not able to correctly establish a connection with the Spore servers. Did you figure it out?
