Can't register account in game

Hi,

I originally bought the game and all of the dlc through steam but added it to my EA account following the guides on this forum, I also reinstalled it through origin too (I don't have the steam version installed anymore.) just to make sure but I still can't register?

It keeps giving me the "an unknown error occurred during registration. please try again" message, I've tried changing my password to something more simple too, deleted the login file in the roaming folder and also checked my firewall settings...

I can't think of anything else to try at this point - I genuinely don't know why it won't let me register ):

Does anyone know how to fix this at all or am I just completely out of luck? ):

    is my only option to buy the creature creator or pester customer support for it to get access to the online features 

    cease if there was any other option that would be wowzers

    Actually it doesn't help either. Many user have complained about buying creature creator trying to fix this issue, they can connect to their Spore accounts on CC but not on the main game. So, still no fix for this.

    At this point, when should this become a legal issue over a stupid kids game?

    so is there anything up to date that will fix this. i cant believe this issue has been going on for this long without being fixed

    Just Downloaded Spore on XboxLive's GamePass and having the same issue. Honestly, I don't even want to play anymore I'm so bummed out.

    Game was installed via GOG.

    Spore is not listed under My Game Library in Origin (see above).

    Can successfully login, but "initial registration failed" due to "internal application error" every time.

    Entering my existing EA email address and password.

    My email is more than 16 characters long, but the account already exists, so this should not be an issue, should it?
