CD key for the Steam version of the game

How can I get the CD key for Spore if I bought it on Steam? Getting in touch with support is like winning the lottery, and the %CDKEY% in the registry is locked. I've reinstalled the game multiple times, and soon. I managed to contact support once, but they told me to wait a bit longer, like it might fix itself, but it didn't.

    Alright, it seems like there's a 100% solution to the problem. It will cost a bit, but thanks to discounts, it's more manageable. If the game was bought on GOG or Steam, you need to purchase SPORE Creature Creator within the EA app, download and launch it, wait for it to load, and then register your SPORE account within the game. After that, try logging in with the Steam version of SPORE. Thankfully, it worked for me. If other players are okay with spending a bit of money, go for it, because EA live support is really poor compared to other services.

    this is absolutely not a solution it's robbery. i've already bought everything i needed and played happily for years on steam.  theives.

    Please reach out to EA Support again and ask for help adding the entitlements to your account, which will unlock the content that you've already purchased. You'll be able to make an account via Steam and log in afterward.

    Bring proof of purchase from Steam and they'll know what to do.

    Scroll down to "Steam" under "Digital Purchases" for proof of purchase requirements. Make sure to read and follow them carefully.

    We don't recommend buying the Creature Creator as a solution because it only solves the problem of not being able to initially enable online access. Sure, you'll be able an account to log in with, but it will still leave you without the entitlements that unlock being able to use Sporepedia for sharing and downloading a lot of creations (Base game, Creepy & Cute parts), as well as adventures later on (Galactic Adventures). Not to mention it costs you more money, which isn't a fair ask.
