Could not find the Data Directory, we cannot run. [1004] WINDOWS 10

Here we go again. . .
I moved my Spore from Steam to Origin a while ago, and I'm just now getting to use it. I uninstalled the Steam version and installed the Origin version. (Creepy & Cute, Galactic Adventures)
I start the game.  The first thing that happens is that it pops up with an Info notification stating that "Could not find the Default Preferences, Data Directory is Missing or Corrupt."
Monitor Changes resolution, game crashes. Pops up with an error/crash notification saying "Could not find a needed package, Data Directory is missing or corrupt."
I ran a malware scan and restarted my computer. The same happened, but the game stayed open for around 10 seconds with a pink screen- no audio, and then it crashed giving the same error off. I tried the 2000 & 1004 Registry Edit trick, but now it just states "Could not find the Data Directory, we cannot run." I'm not sure if this is good or bad considering the previous situation.
I have tried: Restarting my Computer, doing malware scans, uninstalling and reinstalling Spore and it's addons, doing the previous and restarting computer inbetween those solutions.
Nothing works! I am using a Windows 10 computer, and, again, I am not using the steam version! Please help!
