Does the Galactic Adventurers DLC work on digital version?

Hi! I lost my serial code a few years ago for my Spore game. So I was thinking about buying it again on Origin. But the problem is, I have the Galactic Adventures DLC (DLC, right?), and it is the retail version. So, does the retail DLC work with the Origin-bought Spore?
