Fight Night Champion Legacy Body Shot

Hello. I became GOAT on fight night champion under pro difficulty in about 70 fights. It was fun and I really enjoyed it. I am now trying to do so on Champion Difficulty. It has gotten to the point where every opponent is relentless throwing a straight or baby right hook at my left ab/hip area. The punch almost never actually lands yet every time it immediately drains my stamina. Sometimes it makes the big noise like a counter was landed and on replay you can clearly see this shot missed. It is getting to the point where the game isn't even fun anymore due to this. This is my favorite game ever, but at this rate It may join the dead pile. I really want to keep playing but the only way to beat this is to switch to south paw and repeatedly throw power straights (basically spam). What can I do about this? Once it started every computer opponent does it, and it can not be blocked. What do I do?! I can record when I am home if necessary.
