Help! Can I get SPORE on iPad or iPhone?

My son wanted spore really badly - so I bought it for Mac/PC. I (stupidly) thought that he’d be able to run it on his iPad or IPhone. He was so happy on Christmas Day that he cried. Now - I can’t make sense of getting it on either device at all. 
Does that mean I made a huge mistake and he can’t play it at all? 

Help me not ruin Christmas!
