How to get CD key to install the 1.04 version

How do I get a CD key to register the original Spore game (v1.04) not the Steam version. I have the original disk (but lost my original key from like 6 years ago) for the v1.0 and Galactic Adventures which updates it to 1.04. But when I install em it asks for a registration key and connection to the internet. I bought it on Steam, how do I get the CD key?

    @ChaimShekelberg 

    To locate a game key:
     

    1. In your Steam Library, choose the game from the list.
    2. Select the cogwheel icon on the right.
    3. Choose Manage and then CD Keys.

    Please also note that the CD key option will only appear if the game is already installed or if the installation is started.
     

    Alternatively, when first launching some older games, Steam will automatically display any key needed for further activation.

    Please note that some titles may not give the option to display the CD key in Steam.
