I bought Spore of steam. My EA account wont log in or register. The message only says unknown error

this doesn't work for me, cause i opened up the gear icon and there is no CD key option like with galactic adventures, even that doesn't work cause it says it was already used, which is not the case or if it is, then its from an account that has been purged from the EA severs
