I'm having trouble with SPORE on Mac.

I just purchased SPORE on my Mac. It says that it is available on Mac, but when I went to my library, it was under the 'unavailable games' tab, for the reason "Available on Windows." What do I have to do to play SPORE, and how do I do it? Also, I couldn't find the product code in my email that I got send when I bought the game, can anyone tell me how to find it. I have a macOS Big Sur version 11.7.7.

Hey @Commandus, This is because of compatibility issues on the new Mac OS systems. Spore is a 32-bit game, and because of that, it is no longer supported on the new MacOS, which runs only 64-bit programs. This is mentioned in the minimum requirements section for Mac. https://www.ea.com/games/spore/spore#system-requirements

If you cannot run the game because of this reason you can check if your order is eligible for a refund

  • I tried it on my Windows 11 Home, and the game played, until I tried one of the stages. How can I play it for real this time?

  • It didn't work on my computer and Mac. How do I refund? And thanks for the advice.

  • Hi, thank you for your reply.  the webpage you shared said I'm not eligible for return due to passed more than 24 hour after launched.  As you know, I was asking questions here and trying two different computers.  24 hour limit doesn't sound like fair limin for return.  I wonder if you can assist me to return the product?  Thank you.
