Bought Spore off Steam a few hours ago and when I attempt to launch it says "Configuration script failed. [2000]" "Could not find a needed package. The data directory is missing or corrupt. [1004]". Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
Try going into the game library tab > right click on spore > repair files
Verify Integrity of Game Cache under Local Files is what it's called sorry not repair :P
I have tried validating but it does not work.
