Layout of New Forum

I'm not sure how feasible it is for this new forum to change its layout, but I, and others I've talked to, are not fans of the hyper-modernized style and layout of this new forum. Could it be changed...

I keep on getting notifications saying "YOU GET A BADGE" every 2 seconds. I despise this layout more than anything, And would like it to burn in hell.
