Medal of Honor Airborne 'no launcher' error

Hi MOH fans,
As my MOH Airborne DVD  is worn out, I purchased the game from EA.  I eventually got around the 'graphics card not supported' error, but now it reports
'Failed to launch game MOHA.exe -no_launcher' 
This appears after showing the setup dialog.  Any thoughts?  I tried ChatGPT and following it's suggestion, created a launcher executable, but it didn't help.
