Mouse cursor not working properly

I've been playing spore periodically for a while now, and have only ever used the mouse to do everything in all stages, moving the camera, moving my creature/spaceship/units. along with basically every other control in spore. i recently must have clicked one of the wasd buttons, because now i cant move the camera or move my character at all using the mouse, which has basically made this game all but unplayable. its quite difficult to do anything now, and i would appreciate if there was a way to go back to mouse only control. I've tried restarting the game but there appears to be no way to revert the controls. For a game i paid for, id appreciate if there could be some way to fix this. Thanks.
