My 10+ year old account was compromised and unrecovered

Hello all,

As a long time customer of EA and an old Origin user (more than 10 years), it's with some pain that I share the trouble I've been going through with EA Support, regarding my compromised account, today.

Today, during the afternoon, I was a victim of an attack that compromised some of my accounts across multiple platforms. The attacker tried changing (and succeeded in some platforms) my e-mail addresses and/or removing 2FA from them. On most of them I had the same Two-Factor Authentication turned ON (EA Account included) and, for that reason, I was able to recover them partially. 

I have no idea how, despite the 2FA, the attacker was able to change my information without even a single prompt to my e-mail other than various "XXXXXX is your security code" e-mails.

As I tried recovering my also compromised EA account (not the one i'm posting this from) with Support, they asked me for a multitude of information regarding it (understandably so). I provided it to the best of my ability, shared whatever connected accounts I could remember, everything I could. Still have the e-mails from Origin and the ones from EA, along with my personal info which is partially not available in my account.

Yet, despite all that, I'm being told not everything could be verified. No further attempt was made by support (e.g. ask if i have the e-mails from the account details alteration, old nicknames, etc), despite my trying to provide even information that was not asked of me.

I urge anyone who can assist me with this matter to please do so, as I feel like I'm running out of options.
