Re: Unable to launch SPORE

Check your Origin setting and disable Origin in game.

1. Open Origin
2. Select Application Settings from the Origin menu in the top left
3. Select Disable Origin in Game > Remove out there the hook

Starts the game and Spore App in compatibility mode, navigate to C: User / Program (x86) / Origin Games / Spore/

or Open the Start menu and type "SporeApp.exe" (without quotes).

With right click on the SporeApp.exe

1. Properties
2. Choose compatibility tab
3. Choose a Windows Version
4. And set a flag in “Run this program as an administrator”
5. Say okay
6. http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-8/older-programs-compatible-version-windows

I cannot find SPOREAPP.exe in the file ,what remain is SPORESetup .

@AuKungWing Hey, can you restart your system with a Clean Boot then launch Origin as an administrator and try again?

If you get any notifications about Origin needing permission, be sure to let it make changes.

There is no compatibility tab in Propteries window of SporeApp.

I boot the computer and it still doesn't work.Besides I look at the file,it should have download all the data.

I download origin and spore on a window 8 laptop and it can run normally
