Screen Flickers Rapidly [SPORE]

After spore had been running for about an hour, the enitre screen began to flicker rapidly until it was headache-inducing to look at. I quit spore and restarted it; Spore now flickers rapidly at all times while running. Compatibility troubleshooting and other answers in the FAQ have yielded no results, please help. If more information is needed to figure out this issue just ask and I'll find it- I'm not sure what's relevant, as I've never seen a bug like this before.
