skate pre-alpha test

The first thing I didn't like was that the avatar design is too caricatured, like the characters in Fortnite. Creating avatars in Skate 3 is much better and more realistic, even though that's a game from 15 years ago.

Second: There's no falling from doing a 90° ollie. I don't understand why this doesn't cause an accident. The character automatically adjusts the board.

Third: When grinding on a tube and losing speed, the character doesn't fall off the board; he stays there halfway across the line.

Fourth: When there's an accident, the character recovers right there. If I just fell from 50 meters, I'd expect at least a short time for the character to take a while to get up, but in what I've tried, they fall and recover immediately. I hope they also introduce, like in Skate 3, the ability to see broken bones, dirty clothes, and wounds and blood.

But for me, the worst thing about the alpha was the avatar design. It doesn't make you want to dress up those toys.

  • Dude it's pre alpha gameplay on playtest the avatars look fine when playing they're not worried about all of that during play test. Also you can lay down as long as you want when you crash or fall down. Your player only gets up when you press the push button or Try to move. You can literally lay there all day long
