I tried the compatibility mode for windows XP and windows 7, both did not work.
I deleted the graphics cache, no difference than before.
I've added a screenshot which shows my settings menu being bounded to the bottom right corner of my screen without any way of moving it around, and anytime I click any of the options it remains blank. For the spore cell stage the game stops responding and I cannot do anything with it, (I have to close it through task manager.
Unfortunately is this a problem which is not unknown, there is no real solution for it.
