Spore Bot Parts

So its been long enough. Locking a parts pack behind a special offer alone was a bad idea as it renders the offer useless. Very few obtained it and as a result there are so few to share such creation...

    the spore bot parts are (kind of) available now. i made a guide on how to get them on this forum. However I deleted it as it was kind of bad. I may make a more comprehensive guide in the future but for now I'll just use this thread and attempt to be as helpful as possible.

Hello, I am on a quest to have the Bot Parts Pack activated for me as well. I made a post about it here: https://answers.ea.com/t5/Spore/Please-activate-Bot-Parts-Pack-to-my-Spore-com-account/m-p/11956069#M14228

I have spoken to 2 EA Support Advisors about it and even tweeted about it! They all said the same statement that it's not possible. I have faith that it IS possible and I hold this post and all it's replies as the testimonial to the fact that it is. and these representatives simply don't know what I am even talking about. I am in Germany so it is harder for me in terms of calling them directly.

I have spoken as I said to two EA Support Advisors and Tweeted, though it won't let me even request a call or open another Live Chat anymore, maybe it is because I have two emails (accidentally XD) about it that I have gotten a reply on simply asking me what my Origin ID and email is etc (which I have replied to).

What to do you, or anyone else here recommend I do? I will give updates here. I have Direct Messaged EA Support on the matter also and detailed everything I know and even showed the users as for an example who have had this service granted to them. Wish me luck and thank you all.

I SENT AN EMAIL ABOUT IT, AND I GOT A REPLY BACK SAYING IT'S DONE!!! I check my Spore.com account and BOOM!!!!! OMG I am so happy! I recommend telling them that the Bot Parts Pack is available to everyone however you cannot share to the community what you create because you lack this "Spore Bot Parts" Badge on your Spore.com profile that allows you to. Tell them all you need is the permission to share Bot Parts creatures and I recommend sending an email instead of having phone calls or live chat. In 2022 this works and is 100% possible despite what you are told, I think that not all of EA Support know much about it :/.

    Hello everyone! I am going to try my hand at this for myself. I know it's possible because of everyone here's testimony. Wish me luck, I have emailed EA Help and I pray I will get someone who knows what I am talking about and is able to help me and does not lie to me saying ridiculous things like "do not use bot on spore".

    I want to get Bot Parts really bad!

    OMG! I got Bot Parts! I have received an email to my Case and they have given me Spore Bot Parts!!!! I am so happy right now! I made a forum post about it too asking but I deleted it to not cause clutter, thank you so much EA Help! My Spore name is Evie222 for anyone curious.

    @EvieSpore Is there a specific email address or procedure you used to contact support? I've only ever been able to use live chat option and have gotten nowhere over the past year.

    @JDBud1 If you contact Live Support like 3-4 times then it doesn't let you use it anymore and instead forces you to either Get a Call or send an Email, what you want is to send an Email. It's like a cooldown I dunno, I literally cannot use Live Support anymore lol.

    @JDBud1  You will need to go to Codes and Promotions --> Promotional Questions and open a Live Support about the same thing multiple times, and even make Emails multiple times about the same thing and you may very well be told false information about how it's not possible, but the point is that eventually someone who knows what you are talking about and with the power to help you will come along and give you Spore Bot Parts badge.

    You must be polite and respectful, even when you are told something like 'It's not possible because this promotional DLC was 10 years ago!', you can explain how it's not true but my advice is to close the Case and open a new one in an hour or so. Do not be rude to the EA Help people as they just aren't all cued in on what your asking for and they may very well help you!

    You will need to be persistent because EA Help has a lot of representatives who don't know how to help so they just practically lie to you. I tweeted to EA Help about it and made an Answers HQ Spore post about it after like 5 failed Emails and I think it got the attention of someone who was able to actually help me to whom I am EXTREMELY grateful. Good luck to you and anyone reading this who wants Bot Parts, this is 100% possible and it's unfortunate but you will need to be persistent! And remember, remain polite and respectful to EA Help!

    I'm having issues pulling this off; I login to help.ea.com, go to Codes and Promotions and Promotional Questions after specifying that I'm looking for support from Spore and that my platform is on PC, but after selecting 'Select contact option', it goes to a page where the only option available is to visit Answers HQ - have Live Support and email options been deprecated or something?

    I have the same problem, I just can't text them via Live Chat in Codes and Promotions.

    And how do you guys do it? I've already sent more than 5 emails since last Sunday and I keep getting all kinds of trash like: it's an external site, it's impossible, go to live chat. I don't know how to deal with them anymore.

    I've already sent out 13 emails and talked to them a couple of times via Live Chat in the Manage My Account category. I'm just tired of texting them already. I wait 20 hours for answers and I get this..

    After going through 6 more agents, the next day I finally got Spore Bot Parts! I'm so happy it's over

    I wish everyone more luck than me. I've been trying to get that icon since 2022.
    Total number of cases: 21
    Of these, 11 were emails that led nowhere, and the rest were conversations via chat.
    (In some cases there were several emails (up to five))

    Congratz! im still exchanging ecmails with my first support employee since 2021. i hope it works. their support site can be really confusing and buggy. lets hope for the best.

    It's still possible despite the rare results. I got mine back in 2018, way after the original Dr. Pepper codes expired.

    You just need to find the right agent; although I think it's pretty reasonable to suggest that almost no agent would know about these parts since they're so insignificant and barely mentioned in the community.

    For more information, there is this thread on a 3rd party Spore forum that gives more information.

    @Sharples65 Indeed i found that out in 2021 too but they told me that they could not give codes anymore since 2019. but now i found out that they where lying or just did not know.

    I GOT IT!!!! I tried alot of emails but it just goes waaayyy to slow. i did 3 livechats the third guy added it witin minutes! Absolutly Awesome!
    ;D still need to change my status.... just was waayy to exited!
