Spore disc Damaged, Code already used

Okies,

I tried to re-install Spore after many years, and found that the install disc would not work. so i tried to register my code online and just download a digital install for it.

Now it's coming up that the code has already been used, and i no longer have access to the original email address that i believe it's registered to.

Is there a way to refresh this code to work with my now current Origin account without having to pay again?

I have tried through Steam and Origin website and clients.
