Spore doesnt work

I just bought spore on steam,  and it says either log in if i have a spore account (which i dont) or register WITH EA, i type in my ea account, and it says something about server  issues. I checked  and steam doesn't give out cd keys for spore anymore, and i dont see an  option to open a ticket on EA offical Support site.
