Products purchased on Steam can't be redeemed on the EA app anyways (and vice versa), and looking at the Steam Store, it won't work if you have bought other packs/the base game on the EA app already.
It might be a better idea to see if you can get a refund on Steam and then buy the pack separately on the EA app if you want to play it there.
This is not exactly correct. As customer service through live chat can transfer copies of SPORE and it's respective expansion and DLC over to the EA App.
The main reason why players on Steam need to do this is because the product key was hidden on Steam due to an exploit in 2021. This means that players on the Steam version cannot register the game for the online experience; And it's pretty sad because there are over 191 million creations to experience.
Players only attempt to go through this method to register SPORE online. However, it would be preferable to have a more viable solution for Steam players, so that they don't need go through customer support to add Spore to their account.
Also to add to the point of being unable to see CD-Keys on the EA App, you can through the following method:
1. Open the EA App and click on 'Spore'
2. Click 'Manage' then 'View Properties'
3. Your CD-Key should be there under 'Product Key'.
Make sure you're following everything correctly on the 'How to provide proof of purchase'. Using a phone and taking a screenshot will most likely not work. You need to be on a desktop/laptop environment.
