Spore Product Key and feature transfer error

okay i bought spore for my son he can't find the case and when i did get to the point of typing in the registration i did not have the key. to registor--then i remembered i did register before so i installed and ran majic key finder and nothing came up for spore. now i am contacting you. I am now installing it on my sons new computer and the installation gets as far as "C:\...\Electronic Arts\SPORE\Data\Spore_Content.Package" than a "Feature transfer error" pops up stating "File: D:\Spore\Data\Spore_Content.package    Error: Data error (cyclic redundancy check)
