"Spore quit unexpectedly"

I bought Spore off origin almost exactly one year and one month ago and was able to play it fine on my Macbook pro through origin. I haven't played it since after and recently got a new MacBook Pro, ...

Hi @LeeFhallo

the SPORE Preferences folder is under  Users/YourUserName/Library/Preferences/SPORE Preferences/

If he not there, then the game couldn'T create one

In this case, you should again check your settings in Origin. If you did that and it still does not work, delete Spore completely.

Use Cache Command to clean the Mac. ⇧⌘G 

It pop up a new window, type ~/Library/Caches

Delete everything there with ⌘←

@Freggi-Liz I have tried all of these things and when I try to open the game it always says "SPORE quit unexpectedly". I am unable to find the SPORE preferences folder. I cleared my cache. I do not know what else to do and EA is no help.
