METHOD 1: Update Origin. Check the integrity of the game files.
METHOD 2: Update your DirectX version. This should help. Follow this
link to download update from the official Microsoft website.
METHOD 3: Update your graphics card drivers. Find out the name of your Video card and find the appropriate driver for it from the manufacturer's official website.
Method 2 is the best, 1 can still fix, and 3 is a last resort.
I've already done Method 2 and Method 3, how do I do the Method 1?
- @SnakingNGaming Already did the 3 of them and still didn't work!!! help please☹️
Did you install Spore from disc?
- @sandyjam_s No, I bought it off Origin
I have the same problem, I bought the game today
I have the same problem and none of the solutions worked..
Having the same issue with my windows 11 laptop and completed all 3 steps. Still the same problem! Ugh!
Download the DirectX File: https://www.dll-files.com/d3dx9_27.dll.html
You want to put this file in C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Spore\__Installer\directx\redist
I'm having the issue described in the article. I tried the three steps listed here and also tried downloading the DLL's into the redist directory as described below. None of these fixed the issue. Any other suggestions on how to get the game to run?
