Spore shows as already registered

I purchased the retail PC version of spore back in the day from my local Blockbuster. I had chatted with support and they said I needed my proof of purchase. I didn't have it but have found it. However just like I mentioned to the chat representative, receipts are printed on thermal paper. So I have this receipt and it has the Blockbuster logo on the back but the printing is super faded and I can barely make it out. I can make it out though. I'm not sure it will show much in a picture due to time and fading. Heck it's over 15 years ago, thermal paper isn't designed to last that long. 

How do I go about using this game again? I do not have a 17 year old computer that I initially registered it on, not even the hard drive. I am just trying to play an old game that I loved in the proper manner. Please help!
