Spore suddenly not saving OR loading (Epic Play 2.1 mod)

I have had spore for years, and it has never caused me any problems, however today i installed the mod Epic Play 2.1 (https://www.nexusmods.com/spore/mods/5/) and it has began messing up. When using this mod the game would no save, coming up with a message such as 'Save error' or something like that. The game then closes, and when i load it back up i have no progress on the world i was playing. This now also happens without the Epic Play mod, even after i have restarted and reinstalled each spore twice. I am not sure if it is the mod causing problems or something else. Thanks!

    @Bignosey666 Hmm, the mod could have corrupted your save game files, who keep in place even if you uninstall the game.

    You may need to delete it. Your save game files are in C:\Users\YOURNAME\AppData\Roaming\SPORE.

    That worked, i can save my game again! Thank you so much, i couldn't find a solution anywhere, it was so simple!
