Spore won't open. I try to find answers but the EA site keeps throwing so many pop-ups that i can't search very well. Windows 10. It worked fine 3 days ago.
I click on Spore and it churns and it looks like it will open and then it throws the error "Spore has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution if available." I made sure that Origin had the latest version installed.
Using Windows 10.
@gonzalezfam1234 Hi,
Can you try looking at your reliability monitor following the steps below:
1. Press Win+R to open the run box
2. Type perfmon /rel to open the reliability monitor.
This opens a window where you can click on the error's visually shown (white X in red circle) to find the latest one related to Spore & Origin. Click show details and then paste the info that is listed in there in here.
Cheers,
Nils
I am suddenly having the same issue. Spore, the parts pack, and Spore: GA were installed and working on this computer previously.
Looking at this output perhaps it is related to the recent ATI driver update (16.5.2) since I see a crash in "atiumdag.dll".
The game does work on another Nvidia-based laptop.
