I just purchased and downloaded Spore on my laptop. When I attempt to open the application, the screen goes black and then I get a message from Windows telling me Spore has stopped working, then I am forced to close the program.
I have tried running the Program Compatibility Troubleshooter multiple times and the problem continues.
I do know that Spore CAN run on Windows 8 and 8.1, however it can have more issues from the previous operating systems from it time, it's basically older than Windows 7, but it still works on that, and fine too.
I suggesting trying to re-install the game, because Spore can often corrupt when transfering the files.
Me sucede algo similar, se termino de instalar pero cuando le doy a jugar, aparese un mensaje que dice:
(Error del sistema)
El programa no puede iniciarse porque falta d3dx9_27.dll en el equipo. Intente reinstalar el programa para corregir el problema.
Hice la prueba una vez y continua el mismo problema.
