Have you checked for GraphicsCache.package files? It is possible they cause the game crashes.
Try to delete them (and only them (!)). It shouldn't break your game.
They should be in the Spore directory. For Windows 10, it's C:\Users\<YourUserName>\AppData\Roaming\Spore
