Career Progress lost after completing a Sponsor Event in Grid Challenges

Summarize your bug Have lost all career progress. Unlocked cars and mechanic/teammate perks are still there. Team sponsor tasks and career progression through the various events have reset to zero. Still shows that I won cups. Cannot access the Gauntlet - I was on the second stage. I have Grid Legends on GamePass.

How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I noticed this when completing the Xero sponsor race to work on completing the Grid Challenges section. Once completed, when the game saved and then sent me back to the Career menu, the issue was there.
What happens when the bug occurs? All career progress on events is back to 0%. I still have unlocked cars, mechanic and teammate upgrades. Cannot now access Gauntlet. Reloading the game, restarting the Xbox have not solved the issue.
What do you expect to see? I expected to have that Grid Challenge completed and my progress through the game to be maintained.
