Cars missing from garage???

A couple of weeks ago I suddenly couldn’t use some of the cars that I downloaded as DLC from the PS store on my PS5 in any races, then one of the cars I bought with in game currency suddenly disappeared altogether and now another couple of cars have gone missing from the in game garage, some of which were even fully upgraded.

I tried all the suggested steps on the EA help page incl. rebooting the system and relaunching the game etc. but nothing has actually helped. How do I get these vehicles back?

I put many hours into the game to upgrade these vehicles and used a lot of in game currency which also took many hours to acquire as the game is a hard core rally sim and not some mere arcade style Sega Rally. It really sucks to get robbed like this even if it is in a digital garage (which shouldn’t even be possible unless EA’s servers got hacked??)
