Dirt Rally 2.0 in VR is not working with an AMD Radeon 7900 XTX

Hello Answer HQ, i have an issue with Dirt Rally 2.0 since i switched to the AMD Radeon 7900 XTX. As soon as i start the game via SteamVR the Monitor goes black and it says it hasn't signal anymore,...

It's okay I can help.

Go to Documents > My Games > Dirt Rally 2.0

There will be a config file for the regular game as well as one for VR. Open the VR one and make sure Fullscreen is set to 0. Should fix the issue.

    @ChaosEncouragerThnx, setting Fullscreen to 0 fixed the issue for me and I can even set the shader quality back to high without crashing.

      Nice! Glad that it helped.

      Yeah, a driver update mostly resolved the crashing issue related to shader detail for me as well. I still get the occasional crash but it's a lot better now.

        Thanks for the fullscreen = 0 tip. Had the same issue, but with non-VR. RX 7900 XTX also.
