So, we don't know how much we will get for a win/place in a XY event. We don't know anything about teammates salary. We don't know anything about sponsor bonuses (I don't get any credits, probably ...

@JohnnyBermuda7Race winnings have nothing to do with race distance or difficulty. There's a predetermined award (X amount of credits) for each finishing position in each event and that's it. The number of laps or how long it takes doesn't change anything. Go create your own race, set it to one lap of the Indianapolis oval, and you get a specific amount of winnings. Redo the race but set it to ten laps and you win exactly the same amount as with one lap. Ramping up AI difficulty doesn't get you extra winnings.
Are you able to accumulate credits, or do you have to spend them after each race. I can only spend them after each race, as the race credits from a race disappear after the next race. I'm forced to spend each races earnings after each race or lose them. Is this normal for Grid Legends or a glitch in the game. Hopefully a repairable glitch. Thanks for your time.

Perhaps restart with a new save game if you're not far in? Maybe yours is corrupted. Or consider contacting EAHelp for advice if you're really desperate :/
