Fanatec Issue
Fanatec GT DD Pro with Clubsport V3 Pedals issue. On ps5 the car will not move. It seems to be stuck. When I press the gas pedal the car revs but it won’t move. Changing to compatibility mode doesn’t...
Unfortunately this does nothing to solve my issue. I did try switching from manual to automatic but the car only revs and won't move. I did however try the game out on xbox and it seems to work fine. The issue is only happening on my ps5 for some reason.
Possibly a strange one but can you make sure no handbrake or clutch is being sensed?
I don't have a dev-specific answer but from personal experience my handbrake (Xbox) used to jam and register input even when not pulled, and upping its deadzone in the settings resolved this.
In the button bindings menu, you can select any button bind to bring up a little dropdown menu which allows you to change deadzones and the like. It's worth checking your Clutch, Handbrake and Throttle buttons to make sure they're all registering the right inputs.
@PJTierneyCMI’ve figured out that this issue happens when you have a CSL DD Pro (only base tested) and try to map Circle to the Fanatec handbrake. Handbrake tests fine in calibration, but if you try to race, the cars act like the clutch is engaged. Reset the controls to default (to use H/B on Circle only) and everything works fine but since you turn the wheel, the handbrake button is not easy to use.
PS5, CSL DD Pro, GT7 wheel and BMW GT tested, v3 pedals and Fanatec handbrake. Latest Fanatec drivers for all.
Please fix this, as I use my handbrake for all my other racing games and Legends is awkward to use with the Circle button. Even Grid 2018 doesn’t have a problem w/ this setup.
I have an issue with the handbrake too. When I pull the handbrake is shows on the calibration screen but the % doesn't change form 0% rendering the handbrake useless in this game.
The handbrake works with all other games, even Dirt 5 which has terrible wheel support. I'm using GT DD Pro base and GT Rim.
