I'm playing on android devices and am having the same problem now.
Has you issue been fixed and may I ask how?
I’m on iOS and having this exact issue since today. EA Help said they’re investigating but closed my Case saying “no fix available”. I believe it’s a corrupted cloud save.
- 5 months ago@Syclone0044 I thought so too, at first. But I'm not so sure about it now. I was playing the game normally, until at some point it stopped responding. Quit and restart, it won't finish loading. Uninstalled and reinstalled, it starts but then crashes when restoring the cloud save. This seems to happen at the point it's supposed to load the car animation. So I think that's where it encounters a conflict.
Since this happened to me while playing Red Inferno, I suggested they look at the 2 Ferraris with the same name, one being the 2019 Ferrari F1 car.
My biggest frustration is the loss of the previous week's rewards for OMP and WTT. Also means I cant get the rewards for completing all VP events, along with losing 6 days worth of daily check in bonuses.
It used to be Firemonkeys support would offer compensation for resources lost in such a case.
Nowadays they greet you with "No worries, we'll solve this for you" and later it's "No fix" case closed.- 5 months ago
I have contacted 4 EA Help reps and only one seemed to have “tools” to assist me. I am hoping she means the tools to restore cloud saves like Firemonkeys used to do.
I am very worried that possibly nobody has these tools anymore and we will never be able to play this game again except if we clear all progress and forfeit our accounts.
The days of FM helping and compensating are clearly over, and now all we get is useless AI and chats suggesting generic FAQs like restarting device and reinstalling game etc.
They told me to use the in game Support button instead of EA Help, which I can only access if I delete the game, reinstall and DONT restore cloud save. I’m currently waiting for someone to respond there but I doubt they ever will. My last EA Help rep claims his “colleague” will “surely” respond to me soon.

They did reply in game under the Support button chat screen. Claim they restored to an older cloud save but unfortunately did not fix the issue. I asked for a cloud save from 1 day older than that one and let’s see what happens.

I am having the same issue. Updated to the latest version 13.0. I opened my game 2 days ago and got a pop up window stating RR3 needed to install and additional 54MB. Now it is stuck at 8MB downloaded and stays there. I’ve tried closing the game many times and it’s the same result. After a period of time, I get a pop up window saying “Cannot download additional game files” Any help would be graciously appreciated. Thanks.
- 5 months ago@Mikejamm I had the same issue down to the 54mb download. I had to keep force closing the app and reopen and it would only download 3mb each time. Eventually it completed. The real fix however for me was having EA Help restore an older cloud save.

SUCCESS!!! I am back in the game! It took me like 7 EA Help reps before someone finally would restore my older cloud save, the rest were totally clueless. When they finally restored my cloud save, the Cloud Save suddenly said “Last updated 12 hours ago” when it had previously said 3 days, so I knew they finally did something.
steps:
1. Erase app and reinstall. Do NOT restore cloud save.
2. Open settings, then the little (i) button in game and tap Support button. This opens the EA Help in game which they said is a different team than the EA Help you get on the website! They take about 12h to reply each time. You will get slick RR3 Notifications on that device when they reply.
3. Continue to plead for them to restore your cloud save to an older version until you get a rep that does so. They will waste a LOT of your time with BS like restarting your device and clearing free space etc., things that have nothing to do with this BUG in the game. Just be polite and explain you’ve tried those steps and what you really need is for them to restore your older cloud save! Don’t give up, eventually you’ll get someone like “Mohd” who did it for me!
Unfortunately, “Mohd” refused to answer when I asked him what was the fix, he was very vague and only stated that “some changes were made in the game”. I assume he means he restored my cloud save. I did lose a days progress but that’s nothing compared to losing my 10 years+ old account!

Omg the bug is back just one day later 😭😭 I’m not sure what to do now! I will have to wrestle with EA Help again and try to report this bug to developers but I’m sure they won’t do anything about it sigh! I’m locked out of the game due to this bug!
