SUCCESS!!! I am back in the game! It took me like 7 EA Help reps before someone finally would restore my older cloud save, the rest were totally clueless. When they finally restored my cloud save, the Cloud Save suddenly said “Last updated 12 hours ago” when it had previously said 3 days, so I knew they finally did something.
steps:
1. Erase app and reinstall. Do NOT restore cloud save.
2. Open settings, then the little (i) button in game and tap Support button. This opens the EA Help in game which they said is a different team than the EA Help you get on the website! They take about 12h to reply each time. You will get slick RR3 Notifications on that device when they reply.
3. Continue to plead for them to restore your cloud save to an older version until you get a rep that does so. They will waste a LOT of your time with BS like restarting your device and clearing free space etc., things that have nothing to do with this BUG in the game. Just be polite and explain you’ve tried those steps and what you really need is for them to restore your older cloud save! Don’t give up, eventually you’ll get someone like “Mohd” who did it for me!
Unfortunately, “Mohd” refused to answer when I asked him what was the fix, he was very vague and only stated that “some changes were made in the game”. I assume he means he restored my cloud save. I did lose a days progress but that’s nothing compared to losing my 10 years+ old account!
Omg the bug is back just one day later 😭😭 I’m not sure what to do now! I will have to wrestle with EA Help again and try to report this bug to developers but I’m sure they won’t do anything about it sigh! I’m locked out of the game due to this bug!

Good news - an EA Community Manager saw my Reddit post and contacted me privately, they looked at my cloud save and were able to reproduce the issue on their end! They are looking into it but cautioned the holidays will make it slow. Let’s all hope for a prompt fix.

@Syclone0044I've been having this issue since update 13 came out. I have just determined that the bug is embedded in the new events in the game hub, specifically the Ferrari SF90XX Stradale Red Inferno event and the Hyundai i20N rally hybrid LTS.
After repeated recovery procedures involving restoring an offline/guest saved profile from my tablet into my google play profile, I finally managed to complete that Rally LTS and got the car.
Thinking I had defeated the bug, I saved this progress in the cloud, both in my online account and in the offline/guest account on the tablet. I just found out an hour ago I should not have done that.
After taking a nap I woke up to find all accounts inaccessible, unless I reinstall. But now I have no saved profile that will load, because the Hyundai i20N Rally Hybrid is in all my saved profiles.
Apparently it doesn't matter whether you're driving those cars to get them, or have managed to complete the events. They seem to have some sort of payload that crashes the game and then requires an additional download each time you restart. That additional download should not be necessary since you already had the necessary assets.By the way, I had completed the Ferrari F8 Tributo flashback event prior to the LTS with no issues whatsoever.
This bug acts very much like a virus if you ask me. I'm with you and all affected in hoping for a prompt fix!
