Graphics Update?

Is it possible for us to ever get a graphics update for this game? In particular, I feel like adding things like optional motion blur, camera shake, and speed-based dynamic camera distance would do wonders for improving the game's sense of speed. And updated lighting, colors, and textures would be nice too, but it's understandable if that's too much of an overhaul.
