GRID 2 change graphics resolution causes closing game

Question

When changing the graphics resolution within my game GRID 2 (Steam edition) the game shuts down and closes after I click to accept.

See attached file for more information.

I have the same issue with a AMD RT 5700 XT graphicvs card as well as with a nVidea RTX 4080. It even does not matter what resolution I choose, either which I choose gives the same result.

I use a Samsung G9 (5120x1440 resolution).

Desktop info:

AMD Ryzen 9 5950X

64GB memory

2TB M2 SSD

nVidea RTX4080 (previsously AMD RT5700XT)

Suika Game plays similarly to Sega's Puyo Puyo Tetris, in which you have to line up matching fruits to make them disappear before the basket overflows.
