Grid legends progress reset

The game decided to remove all my sponsor and car-nage progress, that i really do not want to do again. I noticed it removed also some achievements i made, so i suppose the sync failed and overwrote the local file. Can this please be solved? The attachment is my save file

  • This may help if you play in offline mode. (It's not actually offline, but all multi player pvp etc are put offline.)

I bought the game for the single player career and stories part. Not a big fan of online multiplayer.

So, When I launch the game from the EA App, there is an option that says something like, "stop loading xxxx and go offline." I click that, but I find my old test profile which has almost no progression on it.

What I have to do after that is then literally quit the game completely, then launch it again. The same message pops up, but this time it works and I arrive at my profile which a decent amount of progression and my achievements.

In other words I need to start the game, click the big red message to go offline, then completely quit and restart. It works everytime, but it confused me at first, so I have a few races and minor progression saved on that profile.

Seems they really want people to use the multiplayer modes, and it always launches to that first. No problem if wanting to have all the multiplayer stuff active, just fire up the game as normal. That's the defualt start mode. So if you play single player elements only the above may help you?

P.S. No need to quit or restart the EA-APP. I guess it's a codemasters thing?

Edit: Wait, is it Codemasters? I think it's EA infact??, but there is an oline something like Racenet or other. Anyhow, I probably mis-stated the publisher but it makes no difference to anything above this edit.
