GridLegends wont start due to avx I think.Exe starts and stops in task manager

Hi @420Quick420 Do you get an error message during the launch, or does it stall in task manager? Can you try running a Repair as well as ensure any security (AV, firewall, etc) allows Origin and GRID on a whitelist?

No,I get no error message at all,the gridlegends.exe process can be seen starting in task manager then it seems to lose focus slowly moving to zero cpu percentage usage,then closes.The play button reappears in Origin and if I click it the same happens over and over.I currently playing grid2019 full settings at 4k,smooth experience capped at 59 to prevent tearing.I was so psyched to play the 'NEW' Grid you can imagine my disappointment when it wouldn't even launch.Thank-You for looking into this my friend.Grid2 works fine as well fyi.I just can't get it to run,my machine is zippy fast and clean.

Thanks for the reply,but the answer suxx.I had to buy a used machine with 'higher specs' and now the game works.The only problem is that the 'new' machine with i7-3770k actually plays ALL games I have tried at lower fps than my current Xeon rig(which has no avx) Forcing people to use avx is new and I still think we should be seeing a NON-AVX exe released.C'mon codies EA is a money hungry corporation who cares not for gamers,don't let them tell you what to do to your game.It's a great Grid game but I have a machine albeit older that would run the game MUCH better and have had to resort to buying a second hand rig to play.Reward my dedication and release a non-avx.exe please.Kudos to the rep who actually looked into this for me......buys beerXD
