License check failed

I have the game on EA Play Pro and when I try to play it I get the following message: "License check failed. The game will be closed." My only option is to press "Okay".

    After v1.06's release on March 10th, an additional hotfix is now public on Origin and EA App that aims to resolve the following issues:

    • User Receiving License Check Failed When Booting On Origin While Using EA Play Pro
    • Account Restricted (Unable To Access Online)
    • License Check Error On Boot Before Game Closes Down When Using ZoneAlarm Firewall

    If you are still having issues with ZoneAlarm firewall, please add the GRID Legends excecutable file to the 'Allow' list. Details on how to do this can be found here in the "Configuring Permissions for Individual Programs" section: Configuring Advanced Application Control Settings – ZoneAlarm Support Center

    @EA_Barry hello i have the same problem here, i use the xbox game pass and i've try reinstall the game but its not working, please help us !

    I just tried to open the game through the orgin app again and license check failed again. I am an EA play pro member and am supposed to have full access 4 days early........

      I THINK THE HOTFIX DID IT!!!! launched after update, did the intro race, closed game and I'm not working on my career.

      this is ridiculous, has ANYONE in the EA Play Pro membership actually managed to get their game running? all I have gotten from "ea" on these forums is "disable your antivirus and see if that helps" if it helped, I wouldn't be commented....We were supposed to be able to play this game on the 22nd of Feb.

    I get the same error message.  Using the 10 hour free trial.  Xbox Series X.  Canada.  Easy to resolve just do a hard reboot on Xbox and the game restarts.  Hoping this is only a glitch in the 10 hour free trial and won't be an issue in the full game.

    you said i can play 4 days earlier with PLAYPRO. 3 days left, and i stil coudn't play a second. and now i'm thinking about unsubscribing. service is sh*t!

    Shell we get an update on this, or the issue will continue to be ignored?

    It's day 3 and we are still unable to play the game.

    Online chat is useless, making us do generic troubleshooting, when this is clearly a very specific issue.

    We need to know if this is taken seriously and being worked on. We just want to be able to play the game as everyone else.

      it's currently the day of full release and still can't play the game, this is beyond a joke now, all the response I have gotten from someone at ea was "have you tried disabling your Anti-Virus"

      Grid legends not working on upstairs pc. have installed on both upstairs and down stairs pc,same origin account etc. downstairs pc launches game no issues,

      but upstairs pc (gaming pc) WONT LET ME RUN GAME, say's license check failed game will close
