Solved

Losing access to in-game settings as a result of changing in-game settings.

I accidentally changed the control movements while doing the keyboard mappings in my MOST WANTED (2012) game. When I enter the in-game settings, I cannot access any settings because I cannot go up or down. This wrong key mapping prevents me from playing the game. What should I do to solve this problem?
  • Hello there,

Simply delete the "controls" file and then start the game which will create a new controls file and it will reset the controls but hopefully will fix your issue.

    To do this go to:

Documents folder -> Criterion Games folder -> Need for Speed(TM) Most Wanted folder -> Save folder -> 0 folder -> then delete the "controls.NFS13Save" file then simply start the game. You can also edit the file itself if you really know what you're doing.

    Hope this fixes your issue.

I found the folder you mentioned. I found the game file in the documents folder. I went into the config file and rearranged the control commands. The problem is solved.
