The balance on the second image is your total credits including what was earned in that current event - this isn't how much you earn in that one single event (you'll see after the race you are given race earnings, teammate earnings, and costs). The balance shown on your third image is down by 2 credits, which is a separate bug.
I think having 'Earnings' on the left say something like 'Credits Balance' would make this a bit clearer, as calling it 'Earnings' somewhat implies that's how much you earn from the race you just did.
That makes sense. On this image taken before everything is taken into account I see I have 10,000 and race earnings before costs are taken away. I was thinking I should be getting an added 74,000 credits for that race. I did think that was awfully generous and was excited that I would be able to purchase cars quite quickly. I see it’s going to take some more work now. At least I understand. Thank you!
