I want to enjoy GRID Legends not just as a driver, but as a true fan of the Grid World Series. Sometimes I don’t want to be behind the wheel—I want to sit back, relax, and take in the race weekend like I would with real motorsport. Grab a drink, chill out, and watch online races unfold with immersive camera options and a proper broadcast-style presentation. Imagine a GRID TV experience where you can switch between onboard cameras, static trackside angles, blimp shots, or views from the spectator stands. Give us the tools to enjoy the show from every perspective. Now take that further with Spectator Roleplay. Let us walk through the paddock, visit the garages, check out hospitality areas, or tour the entire campus. Add life to it with NPCs, pit crew activity, or behind-the-scenes interviews. Let us control a free-roam fan avatar to move around the venue—from the grandstands to the media tower, or even safe spots near the track. Make it feel like we're attending a real event. And sometimes, I just want passive enjoyment. No pressure to perform, no intense driving—just watching a race while I eat, relax, or wind down. I know I'm not alone in wanting that. All of this could turn GRID Legends into more than just a racing game. It could become an immersive motorsports ecosystem, a tribute to the spirit of racing and the fans who love it. Also, please bring back Alex and Kristen for commentary. Not to replace the new commentators—they’re great too—but alongside them. Alex and Kristen gave the story mode a spark. Having them show up for special races or as co-commentators would be a great way to tie everything together and deepen the atmosphere. Thanks for reading. I really hope Codemasters gives this concept another look. The foundation is already there—it just needs some love.
